Customizing Your Own Accelerated Learning Techniques
There are various accelerated learning techniques that will aid you with your learning, retention, thinking and memory. If you want to get some more accomplished and fulfil your lifelong dream, there are only 5 key elements of accelerated learning techniques that you should really know. I will explain each of these ideas and how you can use them in your day to day learning to help you create your own accelerated learning technique.
1. Posing questions will not do any harm. Do you have any idea how world famous inventors and scientists like Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison and Stevie Jobs achieved celebrity and in turn helped mankind? They were curious. Intelligence grows thru curiosity. By formulating questions about the subjects you are studying, you become very focused on getting the answers. So the next time you raised your hand to ask a question, don’t hesitate. Curiosity does not always kill the cat.
2. Brainstorm and discuss information with someone . Don't keep the information all to yourself. Share it with others and start blue skying. You'll be stunned of what that you will be learning out of that blue-skying session. That way, you'll be absorbing the knowledge and you will even get new info.
3. Explain it in your own words. Out loud . Paraphrasing aloud, particularly at speed, leads you to dredge up and make conscious what you have learned, and exposes the openings in your understanding you can re-cover until it is a part of you. So the next time you see people reviewing for a upcoming examination, don't be prepared if they're talking to themselves. They're in the process of learning.
4. Visualize, draw and write a caption. Speed learning involves 8 multiple intelligences, including visual and linguistic. You harness your right brain visible abilities by drawing pictures that help illuminate your notes and which stick in your mind. Mind-mapping is highly recommended. Also draw on your linguistic intelligence by re-writing the data you are studying in your own words. This all helps change the data from something that is alien and foreign to something that's familiar and comfortable and accessible.
5. Motivate yourself and focus. Incentivize yourself to concentrate and soak up the information by asking, “What am I likely to get out of it? How will learning this information benefit me in the long run?” By concentrating on all the ways it'll benefit you, you give yourself more reasons to learn and studying gets less difficult.
Always remember that t he key to make your own accelerated learning technique is to be creative, think flexibly and take your imaginativeness out of the box of your natural conditioning and habits of thought and learning. Expand your appreciation of each accelerated learning technique by employing a variety of different tools that will further augment your fast learning potential.
