Boost Your Self Confidence Simply And Easily With These 7 Simple Tips

If you’re not as confident as you’d like to be, check out these 7 easy self confidence tips:

1. Take a brisk walk

Confident people are often in a hurry, so the idea of this tip is that by moving faster, you’ll automatically boost your confidence. You’ll also build up your energy levels as the extra speed will affect the rest of your body as well.

2. Don’t slouch

OK. Sounds a bit glib. But check it for yourself now. Slump your body and tilt your head to the floor - Do your feelings get lower in an instant? Now stand tall and tilt your head slightly upwards. Oh, and smile. Feel happier and more awake?

3. Stop being so scruffy

Sure, the “dress to impress” slogan sounds like a cliche. But if you look a million dollars you’ll begin to feel more confident.

4. Express your gratitude for things

This doesn’t have to be in the form of a prayer. Simply be grateful for the things you receive on a regular basis. This can be for anything - your surroundings through to your friends, living in a friendly country or anything else you want to be grateful for. Acknowledge your gratitude either out loud or in your head.

5. Compliment people

Even though this isn’t the primary idea, you’ll probably get complimented back. Regardless of other people’s reaction to this, you’ll be reducing the negativity around you and you’ll envelop yourself in a more positive attitude.

6. Stop sitting at the back

If you sit at the back of an auditorium, lecture or whatever then you’re reinforcing your lack of confidence. Move to the front row - it’s probably almost empty. Be happy to answer any questions aimed at you from the stage.

7. Don’t lurk in conversations - add to them

If you’re always the quiet one at the back in any conversation, join in and speak occasionally. Most people will be happy for you to join in the conversation (or at least won’t shout you down for a minute or two) and you’ll find yourself getting more confident.
