Automobile University
Learn while you drive…
I believe Zig Ziglar first coined the term, “Automobile University” - meaning listening to motivational or instructional tapes while driving in your car to and from work. The idea to launch this web site came as a result of my own personal experience in listening to audio tapes while driving to and from work.
I first heard the term, “Automobile University” while listening to a tape by Zig Ziglar. The concept made total sense to me as I was expanding my knowledge while driving my car. It was as if I were enrolled in a personal development class whenever I was in my car.
Oftentimes our busy lifestyles do not provide us adequate time for personal development and growth… we’re just “too busy.” However, when we convert our drive time into growth time, fantastic results can happen as we better manage ourselves in our limited time schedules.
At Automobile University we suggest audio programs to enhance your knowledge while driving your car or engaged in other activities.
Did you know the average driver drives 12,000 to 25,000 miles a year? According to a TTI (Texas Transportation Institute) study, the amount of time drivers spend stuck in traffic has grown by at least 350 percent over the past 16 years. Drivers in roughly one-third of the cities studied, spent more than 40 hours over the course of a year stuck in traffic.
Audio programs, audio books, cd’s, and downloadable mp3’s provide us with a remarkable tool to acquire information while engaged in other activities. This method of learning has many benefits, not to mention being a great time saver.
You can learn a new language, become more motivated, or learn skills and insight to become a better person, spouse, parent, employer or employee.
